III Roll Call Present 8 - Keith Giagnorio, Elizabeth Brezinski, Brian LaVaque, Anthony Puccio, Bernie Dudek, Andrew Honig, Dan Militello, and Bob Bachner Staff Present: Village Manager Scott Niehaus Director of Community Development Bill Heniff Planning/Zoning Manager Anna Papke Director of Building/Code Enforcement Keith Steiskal Private Engineering Jeff Tomasek Director of Public Works Carl Goldsmith Chief of Police Tom Wirsing Deputy Chief of Police Benny Ranallo Fire Chief Rick Sander Deputy Village Manager Nicole Aranas Village Attorney Jason Guisinger Executive Coordinator Carol Bauer IV Public Hearing Village Attorney Jason Guisinger called the Public hearing to order at 6:03 p.m. 240262 BOT 24-01; Annexation Agreement Public Hearing - Pinnacle at Meyers Subdivision Pursuant to State Statutes (65 ILCS 5/11-15.1-1 through 5/11-15.1-5), the Village is required to hold a public hearing prior to entering into an annexation agreement related to real property being requested to be annexed to the Village. The proposed annexation agreement requested by Afsar Development LLC would establish the terms and conditions of development should the Village Board seek to approve the petitioner's annexation request in the future. Village of Lombard Page 1 Special Meeting Board of Trustees Minutes August 29, 2024 Village Attorney Jason Guisinger noted that the Public Hearing was being held relative to BOT 24-01, an Annexation Agreement for the proposed Pinnacle at Meyers Subdivision. Director of Community Development Bill Heniff provided an overview of a power point presentation regarding the proposed Pinnacle at Meyers Subdivision. Village Board members asked questions relative to the proposed development. Village President Keith Giagnorio welcomed the residents who were in the audience regarding the proposed development including Attorney for the developer Mark Daniel and the developer Ahmed Khan. He asked that everyone be respectful of each other when speaking and addressing the Village Board. . The following spoke relative to the proposed Pinnacle Development: Ken Franklin - against proposal Diane Bellows - against proposal James Barnett - against proposal Melissa Schmitz - against proposal Kristin Dominguez - against proposal Doris Dornberger - against proposal Anne Garcia - against proposal All above are residents of York Center Terry Purkart - against proposal Joe Purkart - Lombard resident near Madison Meadow Carolyn King - against proposal Linda Polacele - against proposal Lila Wasserman Gouveia - against proposal John Zeman - resident of Wheaton, against proposal Mark Daniel, Attorney for the petitioner Ahmed Khan, petitioner for the proposed development, spoke. Village President Keith Giagnorio thanked everyone who came out to the meeting and those who spoke.
