Highland 4.0 Approval of Minutes A motion was made that the Minutes of the July 14, 2014 meeting be approved as amended. Amendment: Discussion under Other Business should clarify "at Roosevelt Road". The motion carried unanimously. 5.0 Unfinished Business 6.0 New Business 140341 Highland Speed Study Petition received by the Public Works Dept. to reduce the speed limit on Highland Ave. between St. Charles Rd. and Maple Ave. from 30mph to 25mph. Will discuss at next meeting with additional information. A motion was made that this matter be tabled to the next meeting. The motion carried unanimously. 140342 Highland/St. Charles Restricted Turn Movement Petition received by Public Works Dept. to adjust the "No Left Turn" restriction to 7 - 9 AM from Maple Ave. and 4 - 7 PM from St. Charles. A motion was made that this matter be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval, to modify the time limits on the No Left Turn signs. The motion carried unanimously. Village of Lombard Page 1 Transportation & Safety Committee Minutes September 8, 2014 140343 Harrison/LaLonde Stop Sign Request Resident request (Miguel Marquez) for a Stop Sign to be installed at the intersection of Harrison and LaLonde. A motion was made that this matter be denied in concurrence with staff's recommendation. The motion carried unanimously. 140344 Marcus/Joyce Stop Sign Request Resident request (Jaclyn) for regulatory signage at the intersection of Marcus and Joyce. A motion was made that this matter be denied in concurrence with staff's recommendation. The motion carried unanimously. 140345 Potomac/Ridge Stop Sign Request Resident request (Lisa Cuvala and Paul Murphy) to install a Stop sign at the intersection of Potomac and Ridge. A motion was made that this matter be denied in concurrence with staff's recommendation. The motion carried unanimously. 7.0 Other Business Lew said that he followed up with IDOT regarding the intersection of Finley and Roosevelt. They said that a temporary fix is in place with a permanent fix coming shortly. 8.0 Information Only 140361 Active Transportation Alliance Illinois Prairie Path Crossing Study 9.0 Adjournment A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:19 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
