I. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lombard held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 in the Board
Room of the Lombard Village Hall was called to order by Village
President Keith Giagnorio at 7:00 p.m. Director of Public Works Carl
Goldsmith led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Village President Giagnorio asked the students in the audience who had
participated in the Youth Leadership Program to come to the front.
Village Clerk Sharon Kuderna read the following:
Before we begin tonight, we would like to mention that we have several
students here from Lombard High Schools who have been participating
in the Village’s Youth Leadership Program. Over the past couple of
weeks, these students have met with staff and toured department
facilities. They have learned about local government and Village
Departments. We hope that they have enjoyed their experience and are
able to walk away with more knowledge about their Village. An
interesting note about this year’s group is that every high school in
Lombard is represented here. We are happy to say we had students
from CPSA, Glenbard East, Glenbard South, Islamic Foundation School,
Montini and Willowbrook participate. We hope that you learned
something new and we thank you for joining us the past few weeks and
tonight.
