Residents can place an unlimited number of paper bags full of leaves out for pick-up on their regular trash pick-up day at no cost. The free leaf pick-up does not include brush collection. Brush can be placed out for pick-up, but requires bundling with non-plastic twine and yard waste stickers. Both free leaf pick-up and yard waste collection in general will end on December 13th. Visit villageoflombard.org/yardwaste for additional information. Thank you to the blood donors who came out despite the cold temperatures on November 13 and donated blood. One-hundred pints of blood were collected at Yorktown and the Village Hall at the drive in recognition and appreciation of our Veterans and in memory of Bill Mueller.
