APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
1. 22015CA Recommendation to approve minutes from the March 10, 2022 meeting of
the Citizen's Advisory Commission on Disabilities.
REGULAR AGENDA
2. 22016CA Recommendation to receive and file information from Esmeralda Garcia,
Access and Functional Needs Specialist, Department of Health and Human Services,
regarding procedures and collaboration efforts to assist people with disabilities and older
adults who live in HUDfunded apartment complexes during and after an emergency.
3. 22017CA Recommendation to receive and file an update from the City's Mobility
Bureau regarding the escooter program, including a brief presentation from Bird
Scooters about their adaptive vehicle program.
4. 22018CA Recommendation to receive and file a presentation from Brian Cochrane
and Julie Dean, Council District 3 residents, regarding various accessibility concerns in
Belmont Shore, including temporary parklets in the business district. Additionally, the
commission will decide if there are any recommendations to make to the mayor and city
council based on this presentation.
