(District 5) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 4. 22-016PR Recommendation to approve Special Event Permit Application #21-159 from Cassandra Leeman, dba the Creative Class Collective, a domestic nonprofit corporation, to host an art festival that will have live music, dance performances, live art painting, food vendors, and local merchants at Houghton Park on June 4 and 5, 2022 with parameters determined by the Office of Special Events and Filming and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, and pay applicable fees. (District 9) Or Determine the proposed activity does not provide a sufficient overall public benefit and deny Special Event Permit Application #21-159 of Cassandra Leeman, dba the Creative Class Collective, a domestic nonprofit corporation, to host an art festival that will have live music, dance performances, live art painting, food vendors, and local merchants at Houghton Park. (District 9) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. DIRECTOR'S REPORT TO COMMISSION 5. 22-017PR Recommendation to receive and file the Director's monthly highlights report, "We Create Community" and "Director's Highlights" for April 2022.
