COMMISSION ITEMS 2. 22­029PR Recommendation to consider approval, or denial, of the fee waiver requests outlined in Attachment "A" in accordance with the Fee Waiver policy. 3. 22­030PR Recommendation to authorize the Director, or his or her management designee, to execute the Personal Services and Instruction Agreements and amend Attachment "A" of the agreements as needed. 4. 22­031PR Recommendation to authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to recommend to the City Manager to terminate Permit #35159 and execute a new right­of entry permit with Signal Hill Petroleum, a California private energy company, to maintain a landscape improvement project at Willow Springs Park for a term of five years from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2027. (District 5) 5. 22­034PR Recommendation to approve Special Event Permit Application #22­328 from Cassandra Leeman, dba the Creative Class Collective, a domestic nonprofit corporation, to host an art exhibit and festival that will include sculptures, live music, live art painting, food vendors, alcohol, and local merchants at Lincoln Park on Sunday, September 4, 2022, with parameters determined by the Office of Special Events and Filming and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, and pay applicable fees. (District 1) Or Determine the proposed activity does not provide a sufficient overall public benefit and deny Special Event Permit Application #22­328 from Cassandra Leeman, dba the Creative Class Collective, a domestic nonprofit corporation, to host an art exhibit and festival that will include sculptures, live music, live art painting, food vendors, alcohol, and local merchants at Lincoln Park on Sunday, September 4, 2022. (District 1) 6. 22­035PR Recommendation to recommend to the Government, Personnel and Elections Oversight Committee for consideration of renaming a section of Channel View Park to Ashlee’s Park in memory or Ashlee Armond and forward this item to the City Council for approval.
