STUDEBAKER ROAD, 9:00 AM 3. 22-042PR Recommendation to approve the placement location of memorial bench at Pan American Park, and Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute a Right-of-Entry Permit, and any other necessary documents, with the Public Corporation for the Arts of the City of Long Beach, dba Arts Council for Long Beach, a California nonprofit corporation, to enter Pan American Park to produce a mural on the memorial or commemorative bench for a term of one year, from December 1, 2022, through November 30, 2023, with three (3), three-year options to renew through November 30, 2032, for bench mural maintenance purposes, at the discretion of the Director. (District 1) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 5. 22-044PR Recommendation to authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to approve field improvements, at Huntley and Buckle Fields, at Stearns Champions Park, and to issue all documents necessary for a Right-of-Entry Permit to Long Beach Little League, a California nonprofit corporation, from November 1, 2022, to October 31, 2025, with the option to extend for one (1) additional year at the discretion of the Director. (District 2) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. DIRECTOR'S REPORT TO COMMISSION 7. 22-046PR Recommendation to receive and file the Director's monthly highlights report, "We Create Community" and "Director's Highlights" for October 2022. Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 8. 22-047PR Recommendation to excuse Commissioners absent from the meeting of the Parks and Recreation on October 20, 2022. Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. PUBLIC COMMENT Opportunity is given to those members of the public who would like to address the Parks and Recreation Commission on non-agenda items.
