Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 2. 24-53189 Recommendation to consider approval or denial, of the fee waiver requests outlined in Attachment “A” in accordance with the Fee Waiver policy. Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 3. 24-53192 Recommendation to authorize the Director, or his or her management designee, to execute the Personal Services and Instruction Agreements and amend Attachment “A” of the agreements as needed. CLARK COMMUNITY CENTER BRIDGE ROOM, 9:00 AM sale of alcohol, in Recreation Park on July 28, 2024, with parameters determined by the Office of Special Events and Filming and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine; or Determine the proposed activity does not provide sufficient public benefit and deny Special Event Permit Application #24-113 from Ragtribe Ethical Clothing & Productions, LLC, for the operation of the Tribe Fest event, in Recreation Park. (District 3) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 5. 24-53194 Recommendation to approve the new concepts submitted by Honoring Our Fallen, a California non-profit corporation and to add three plaques to the existing Honoring Our Fallen Memorial Wall; and Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to amend a Right-of-Entry permit and any other documents necessary for the installation of the three new plaques, with Honoring Our Fallen. (District 5) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 6. 24-53233 Recommendation to receive and file the Director’s monthly highlights report, “We Create Community” and “Director’s Highlights” for May 2024.
