REGULAR AGENDA
1. 22-023TI Recommendation to approve the minutes from the Technology &
Innovation Commission meeting held Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
2. 22-024TI Recommendation to receive and file an update on the distribution of the
Technology & Innovation Commission white paper titled "Analysis and
recommendations for regulating facial recognition technology and other
"smart" devices and platforms", and the Equity and Human Relations
Commission recommendations related to the City's use of Facial
Recognition Technology, and to discuss next steps for distribution and
outreach for both documents.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.

3. 22-025TI Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on the development of
a digital rights platform minimum viable product, as part of the Smart City
Initiative.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
4. 22-026TI Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on the Citywide Fiber
Network Infrastructure Initiative.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Members of the public are invited to address the Commission
on items of interest to the public within the Commission's jurisdiction. Each speaker will
be limited to two minutes unless that time is extended by the Chair.
