1. 22-027TI Recommendation to approve the minutes from the Technology &
Innovation Commission meeting held Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
2. 22-028TI Recommendation to receive and file an update on the distribution of the
Technology & Innovation Commission white paper titled "Analysis and
recommendations for regulating facial recognition technology and other
"smart" devices and platforms", and the Equity and Human Relations
Commission recommendations related to the City's use of Facial
Recognition Technology, and to discuss next steps for distribution and
outreach for both documents.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.

3. 22-029TI Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on the City’s 2022
Digital Inclusion Week (DIW) Social Media Engagement Plan.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
4. 22-030TI Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on the development of
the City’s Long Beach Recovery Act Dashboard.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Members of the public are invited to address the Commission
on items of interest to the public within the Commission's jurisdiction. Each speaker will
be limited to two minutes unless that time is extended by the Chair.
