The motion carried by a unanimous vote. Present: 4- Charles Morris, Di Tran, Emily Paprocki and Joe Reverman Absent: 3- Christopher Fuller, Kathy Cary and Sally McMahon New Business 1. 20-OVERLAY-0002 Request: Request for a BROD Overlay Permit for demolition and new construction of a commercial building, hotel and site improvements Project Name: The Hensley Hotel and Bar Location: 1125-1131 Bardstown Rd Owner: Dustin Hensley, Utopia Ventures, LLC Applicant: Jeff Rawlins, Architectural Artisans Jurisdiction: Louisville Metro Council District: 8 - Brandon Coan Case Manager: Becky Gorman, Planning & Design Coordinator A motion was made by Committee Member Morris, seconded by Committee Member Richard, that Case Number 20-OVERLAY-0002 be CONTINUED to a DATE UNCERTAIN for the applicant to return with additional information regarding moving the building forward as much as possible, reduce parking spaces, the design/patterns of the rear windows, lowering the ceiling of the parking garage, and material to be used for the enclosure around the deck. Emily Liu, Planning & Design Director, stated that was a good idea, and that staff had been discussing having these types of meetings to not only inform the community, but to receive input from them as well. Ms. Thomas agreed to provide her contact information to staff. The Committee, by general consensus, agreed to work with Ms. Thomas in scheduling a meeting with the neighbors.
