Present: 20 - Jessica Green (D-1), Keisha Dorsey (D-3), Barbara Sexton Smith (D-4), Donna L. Purvis (D-5), David James (D-6), Paula McCraney (D-7), Brandon Coan (D-8), Bill Hollander (D-9), Pat Mulvihill (D-10), Rick Blackwell (D-12), Mark H. Fox (D-13), Cindi Fowler (D-14), Kevin Triplett (D-15), Markus Winkler (D-17), Marilyn Parker (R-18), Anthony Piagentini (R-19), Stuart Benson (R-20), Nicole George (D-21), James Peden (R-23), and Brent Ackerson (D-26) Excused: 5- Barbara Shanklin (D-2), Kevin Kramer (R-11), Scott Reed (R-16), Robin Engel (R-22), and David Yates (D-25) Absent: 1- Madonna Flood (D-24) Support Staff Sarah Martin, Jefferson County Attorney's Office Joan Sheffer, Department of Information Technology Clerk(s) David B. Wagner, Assistant Clerk Closed Session for Personnel Matters Pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(f), President James called for a motion to move into a Closed Session to discuss personnel matters. A motion was made by Committee Member Winkler, seconded by Committee Member Piagentini, to move into a Closed Session to discuss personnel matters. The motion to move into Closed Session carried by a voice vote at 5:42 p.m. President James called for a motion to reconvene the open session. A motion was made by Committee Member Winkler, seconded by Committee Member Coan, to reconvene the open session. The motion to reconvene the open session carried by a voice vote at 6:18 p.m. Pursuant to KRS 61.815(1)(c), no final action regarding personnel matters was taken during the Closed Session. Action Taken in Open Session President James called for a voice vote on eliminating the Deputy Clerk position. The question on eliminating the Deputy Clerk position carried by a voice vote.
