Kenwood Dr. Owner: Roman Catholic Bishop of Louisville Applicant: St. Francis DeSales High School Representative: Sabak, Wilson & Lingo Jurisdiction: Louisville Metro Council District: 21 - Dan Johnson Case Manager: Latondra Yates, Planner II A motion was made by Committee Member Brown, seconded by Committee Member Peterson, that the Waiver of Section 5.5.1.A.3.a of the Land Development Code (LDC), to allow parking in front of the building; and to not provide the required 3 foot masonry, stone or concrete wall that makes reference to a similar design in the surrounding area along Kenwood Ave. and Laughlin St., be approved. The motion carried unanimously. The motion carried unanimously. Yes: 4- Committee Member Brown, Committee Member Kirchdorfer, Chair Person Tomes and Peterson Absent: 1- Committee Member White A motion was made by Committee Member Brown, seconded by Committee Member Peterson, that the Waiver of Sec. 10.2.10 of the LDC to not provide the required VUA LBA along the existing parking lot along Kenwood Dr., be approved. The motion carried unanimously. Yes: 4- Committee Member Brown, Committee Member Kirchdorfer, Chair Person Tomes and Peterson Absent: 1- Committee Member White A motion was made by Committee Member Brown, seconded by Committee Member Peterson, that the Waiver of Sec. 10.2.10 of the LDC to nor provide the required VUA LBA along the loading area along Laughlin St., be approved. The motion carried unanimously. Yes: 4- Committee Member Brown, Committee Member Kirchdorfer, Chair Person Tomes and Peterson Absent: 1- Committee Member White A motion was made by Committee Member Brown, seconded by Committee Member Kirchdorfer, that the Category 3 Plan for construction of an athletic facility, be approved. Owner: Speckman Commercial, LLC Applicant: Speckman Commercial, LLC Representative: Speckman Commercial, LLC Jurisdiction: City of Middletown Council District: 20 - Stuart Benson Case Manager: David B. Wagner - Planner II A motion was made by Committee Member Brown seconded by Committee Member Peterson, to RECOMMEND to the City of Middletown, that the following waivers be approved: Waiver 1 - to omit the sidewalk along Speckman Rd., LDC Section 5.8.1.B; Waiver 2 - to waive the 35 ft. LBA, plantings and screen along the north property line, LDC Sec. 10.2.4; Waiver 3, to waive the 35 ft. LBA, plantings and screen along the east property line, LDC Sec. 10.2.4; Waiver 4 to waive the 10 ft. VUA LBA, plantings and screen along the west property line, LDC Sec. 10.2.10; and Waiver 5 to allow the easements to overlap the LBA by more than 50%, LDC Sec. 10.2.4. The motion carried unanimously. Owner: Jean & Kate, LLC Applicant: Simpson-Boone, LLC Representative: Milestone Design Group, Inc. Jurisdiction: City of Jeffersontown Council District: 20 - Stuart Benson Case Manager: David B. Wagner - Planner II A motion was made by Committee Member Brown, seconded by Committee Member Peterson, to RECOMMEND to the City of Jeffersontown, that the Waiver to omit the required 20 ft. LBA and associated plantings and screenings along the R-5 and R-5A zoning boundary, LDC Sec. 10.2.4, be approved. The motion carried unanimously.
