Present: 8- Commissioner Stefanie Buzan, Commissioner Chris Hartman, Commissioner Carrye Jones, Commissioner Robert Kirchdorfer, Commissioner Milton Haskins Jr., Commissioner Emily Liu, Commissioner Joanne Weeter, and Commissioner Jay Stottman Absent: 3- Commissioner Christopher Fuller, Commissioner Tamika Jackson, and Commissioner Amin Omidy Approval Of Minutes 1. LMC_Minutes_03.21.19 Approval of the Minutes from the March 21, 2019 Historic Landmarks and Preservation Districts Commission Annual meeting. A motion was made by Commissioner Stottman, seconded by Commissioner Haskins, that the Minutes from the March 21, 2019 Historic Landmarks & Preservation Districts Commission be APPROVED. Commission 2. 18COA1328 Request: Appeal of Cherokee Triangle ARC Decision for Case 18COA1328 Project Name: Castleman Statue and Base Removal Location: Parcel 075F-3000-0000; Roundabout at Cherokee Rd. and Cherokee Pkwy. Owner: Louisville Metro Government Applicant: Louisville Metro Government Representative: Lauren Givhan and Sarah J. Martin Jurisdiction: Louisville Metro Government Council District: 8-Brandon Coan Case Manager: Cynthia Elmore, Historic Preservation Officer A motion was made by Commissioner Hartman, seconded by Commissioner Liu, in Case Number 18COA1328, Appeal of Cherokee Triangle ARC Decision, to Uphold the Appeal, and OVERTURN the Denial by the Cherokee Triangle Architectural Review Committee and APPROVE the original application, based upon the Staff Report, and SUBJECT to the following Condition of Approval: Condition of Approval: 1. Any future public art installations or new construction requiring a Certificate of Appropriateness shall be reviewed and approved by the Cherokee Triangle Architectural Review Committee.
