LMC_Minutes_08.29.19 Approval of the Minutes from the August 29, 2019 Historic Landmarks and Preservation Districts Commission meeting. Commissioner Weeter stated the Minutes give a bit more weight to those against the local landmark designation, and reqeusted the Minutes be amended to give equal weight to all persons who spoke at the hearing. The Historic Landmarks & Preservation Districts Commission, by general consensus, agreed to defer approval of the Minutes from the August 29, 2019 Historic Landmarks & Preservation Districts Commission meeting to the next meeting, and that the Minutes be amended to reflect a more balanced approach to the testimony made by those for and opposed. Commission 2. 19DESGNATION1000 Request: Individual Landmark Petition Project Name: Holy Name Complex Designation Request Request: 2914 S. 3rd Street and 2911 S. 4th Street Jurisdiction: Louisville Metro Council District: 15-Kevin Triplett Case Manager: Savannah Darr, Planning & Design Coordinator A motion was made by Commissioner Jackson that Case Number 19DESGNATION1000 be postponed for a few months so the property may be made available to receive offers and alternatives for purchase, preservation, and other proposed use. The motion failed for lack of a second. A motion was made by Commissioner Stottman, seconded by Commissioner Weeter, that Case Number 19DESGNATION1000, Individual Landmark Petition and the draft designation report, be APPROVED. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: Commissioners Jackson, Jones, Weeter, Omidy, Stottman, Buzan, and Hartman No: Commissioners Kirchdorfer, Liu, and Rosenberg Absent: Commissioners Ackerman, and Fuller Adjournment Louisville Metro Government Page 2
