R-199-14 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 33, SERIES 2013 RELATING TO THE GRANTING OF LOCAL INDUCEMENTS TO JUST FABULOUS, INC. (Action Required By: March 2015) Sponsors:David Tandy (D-4) A motion was made by Council Member Scott, seconded by Council Member Butler, that this Resolution be recommended for approval by the Metro Council. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. Enactment No: Resolution 095-2014 2. O-466-14 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY THE LOUISVILLE AND JEFFERSON COUNTY VISITORS AND CONVENTION COMMISSION OF ITS SENIOR SUBORDINATED BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE, SERIES 2014 TO REFUND ITS OUTSTANDING SERIES 2004A BONDS; AND TAKING OTHER RELATED ACTION. (Action Required By: March 2015) Sponsors:Jim King (D-10) A motion was made by Council Member Butler, seconded by Vice Chair Benson, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval by the Metro Council. O-470-14 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO MINIMUM WAGE TO BE PAID TO EMPLOYEES BY EMPLOYERS IN LOUISVILLE METRO. Chairman Tandy explained the process of how the hearings will take place regarding this Ordinance to allow all sides to be heard before a vote will be taken by the Committee. A handout from Councilwoman Scott was given to the Committee Members (Minimum Wage Report form Jason Bailey, Kentucky Center for Economic Policy) (Attached) Mr. Jason Bailey, Kentucky Center for Economic Policy, presented the Minimum Wage Report and answered questions. A motion was made by Council Member Fleming and seconded by Vice Chair Benson to table this Ordinance. By a voice vote, the motion carried and the Ordinance was Tabled.
