A quorum was established. R-065-15 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE NEW LOUISVILLE VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER AS AMENDED (AMENDED BY SUBSTITUTION) (Action Required By: September 2015) Sponsors:Dan Johnson (D-21) A motion was made by Council Member James, seconded by Vice Chair Benson, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. A motion was made by Council Member James, seconded by Council Member Benson, that this Ordinance be amended by substitution. The motion carried by a voice vote. The motion to recommend for approval carried by a voice vote and the Resolution as amended was sent to Old Business. 4. R-040-15 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANTING OF LOCAL INDUCEMENTS TO TAYLOR LAW, PLLC PURSUANT TO KRS CHAPTER 154, SUBCHAPTER 32. Louisville Metro Government Page 2 Labor & Economic Development Action Summary - Final March 17, 2015 Committee A motion was made by Vice Chair Benson, seconded by Council Member James, that this Resolution be amended by adding the following at the end of Section 2: "The 1% local occupational tax will be split with Jeffersontown, Kentucky. Metro will recieve .556 of the 1% tax and Jeffersontown will receive .444 of the 1% tax." The motion carried by a voice vote. The motion to recommend for approval carried by a voice vote and the Resolution as amended was sent to Old Business. 5. R-267-14 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TWO (2) PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF W. MUHAMMAD ALI BOULEVARD, 30TH STREET AND W. MARKET STREET AND OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO GOVERNMENT”) AS SURPLUS AND NOT NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING ITS TRANSFER.
