A quorum was established. Jim Mims, Director of Develop Louisville and Jeremy Dyer, Program Coordinator, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. R-097-15 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANTING OF LOCAL INDUCEMENTS TO DANA DRIVESHAFT MANUFACTURING, LLC AND ANY SUBSEQUENT ASSIGNEES OR APPROVED AFFILIATES THEREOF PURSUANT TO KRS CHAPTER 154, SUBCHAPTER 32. (Action Required By: November 2015) Sponsors:Marianne Butler (D-15) Attachments: Dana Driveshaft Fact Sheet A motion was made by Council Member James, seconded by Vice Chair Benson, that this Resolution be recommended for approval to the Metro Council. A motion was made by Council Members James, seconded by Vice Chair Benson, to table the Resolution due to no one being present to speak. WIthout objection, the Resolution was Tabled. 5. R-098-15 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING A PARCEL OF LAND OF APPROXIMATELY 0.4967 ACRES OF STANSBURY PARK OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO GOVERNMENT”) AS SURPLUS AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING ITS TRANSFER. (Action Required By: November 2015) Sponsors:Marianne Butler (D-15) Attachments: UofL Student Housing at Stansbury Park Easement and Lease Area Exhibit_041715-With Trees A motion was made by Vice Chair Benson, seconded by Council Member Hollander, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Jason Tomlinson, Chief Financial Officer with University of Louisville Foundation and David Saffer, Attorney with Stites and Harbison and Counsel for University of Louisville Foundation and Mike Heitz, Director of Metro Parks, spoke to the item. The motion carried by the following vote and the Resolution was sent to the Old Business due to an abstention: Yes: 4- Hollander, Butler, Parker, and Benson Abstain: 1- James Adjournment Without objection the meeting adjourned at 5:05p.m. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the Full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on May 28, 2015.
