A quorum was established. ID 15-1168 Rebecca Matheny - Topic: Economic Improvement Plan for the Louisville Downtown Partnership. Attachments: 10-27-15 2015 Annual Report Final 10-27-15 Recommended 2016 LDMD Operating Budget 10-27-15 Operating Budget Recommendation 10-27-15 2016 Budget & Economic Improvement Plan Rebecca Matheny, Louisville Downtown Management, spoke to this item and presented a PowerPoint presentation. Ms. Matheny requested an approval for " Recommended 2016 LDMD Operating Budget" and "The 2016 Budget & Economic Improvement Plan". Although the Committee obtained a motion and second for the approval of both items and a voice vote, the items require approval by the full Metro Council. After the Committee adjourned, the Clerk's Office communicated with the Louisville Downtown Management office and informed them of this requirement. Therefore, the Committee approval was not sufficient and legislation will need to be drafted to bring before the full Metro Council. Pending Legislation 2. R-267-14 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TWO (2) PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF W. MUHAMMAD ALI BOULEVARD, 30TH STREET AND W. MARKET STREET AND OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO GOVERNMENT”) AS SURPLUS AND NOT NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING ITS TRANSFER. (Action Required By: May 2015. Reintroduced 5-14-15 / Action Required By: November 2015). Sponsors:Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5) Attachments: Resolution declaring surplus Oct 2014 Certificate of surplus Exhibit A to Resolution declaring surplus Oct 2014 This Resolution remained Held in Committee. R-188-15 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THREE (3) PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1300 AND 1306 BARDSTOWN ROAD AND OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO GOVERNMENT”) AS SURPLUS AND NOT NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING ITS TRANSFER. (Action Required By: April 2016) Sponsors:Tom Owen (D-8) Attachments: Res Doc -Certificate of Surplus Property Ballet Building Sept 2015 A motion was made by Council Member James, seconded by Council Member Parker, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Rebecca Fleischaker, Economic Development, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.
