Chair Person Hamilton called the meeting to order at 4:01 PM.

GOVERNMENT”) AS SURPLUS AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL
PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING THEIR SALE TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF METRO
LOUISVILLE.

PROVISIONS OF KRS 65.7041- 65.7083 TO BE KNOWN AS THE EIGHTEENTH AND
BROADWAY DEVELOPMENT AREA, DESIGNATING THE METRO DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY, INC. AS AN "AGENCY", ADOPTING A DEVELOPMENT PLAN,
APPROVING ENTERING INTO A LOCAL PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT,
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THE "RELEASED AMOUNT" PURSUANT TO THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LOCAL PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT,
REQUIRING THE SUBMISSION OF REGULAR REPORTS TO
LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS AND THE TAKING OF
ANY OTHER ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH THE PURPOSES
AUTHORIZED BY THIS ORDINANCE.

A motion was made by Vice Chair Benson, seconded by Committee Member
Butler, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval.
Laura Ferguson, Louisville Forward, and Jeff Mosley, Mayor's Office, spoke to
the item.
A technical correction was noted in the first WHEREAS of the Local
Participation Agreement, $100 million should be $130 million and $30 million
should be $60 million. The amounts are correctly listed in Exhibit A of the
Agreement.
Chair Person Hamilton asked to be added as a co-sponsor and Council
Member Sexton Smith agreed.
The motion to recommend for approval carried by the following vote and the
Ordinance was sent to the Consent Calendar:
