Roll Call Chair Person Hamilton introduced the committee members present. A quorum was established. Rebecca Fleischaker, Economic Development, spoke to the item. A motion was made by Vice Chair Benson, seconded by Committee Member Denton, that this Resolution be amended by substitution to reflect the City of Jeffersontown not participating due to the company relocating to Eastpoint. The motion to amend by substutuion carried by a voice vote. The motion to recommend for approval carried by a voice vote and the amended Resolution was sent to Old Business. 2. R-126-17 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANTING OF LOCAL INCENTIVES TO EL TORO.COM, LLC, AND ANY SUBSEQUENT ASSIGNEES OR APPROVED AFFILIATES THEREOF PURSUANT TO KRS CHAPTER 154, SUBCHAPTER 32. R-128-17 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1806 MELLWOOD AVENUE, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY AND OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT ("METRO GOVERNMENT") AS SURPLUS AND NOT NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE TO METROPOLITAN SEWER DISTRICT FOR $150.00. The following people spoke to the item: • Latondra Yates, Vacant and Public Property Administration • William Marshall, Metropolitan Sewer District • Nick Lococo, Jefferson County Attorney’s Office A technical correction was noted in the title and the second to last WHEREAS statement; $500 should be $150 as stated in Section II of the Ordinance. Note: After the meeting, in consultation with the County Attorney's Office, the technical correction was revised to delete "ITS ASSESSED VALUE OF" in the title and leave $500 as is in the second to last WHEREAS. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. Adjournment Without objection, Chair Person Hamilton adjourned the meeting at 4:19 PM. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on September 28, 2017.
