Roll Call Chair Person Hamilton introduced the committee members and non-committee members present. A quorum was established. O-337-17 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A DEVELOPMENT AREA PURSUANT TO PROVISIONS OF KRS 65.7041- 65.7083 TO BE KNOWN AS THE BUTCHERTOWN STADIUM DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT AREA, DESIGNATING THE METRO DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, INC. Jeff Mosley, Mayor's Office, and Mike Mountjoy, Louisville City FC, answered Council Members' questions. A motion was made by Committee Member Butler, seconded by Committee Member Mulvihill, that this Ordinance be tabled. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Ordinance was Tabled. Laura Ferguson, Louisville Forward, spoke to the item. A motion was made by Committee Member Butler, seconded by Committee Member Mulvihill, that this Resolution be amended by replacing “renovate its” with “construct a new” in the second WHEREAS and SECTION I. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote. The motion to recommend for approval carried by a voice vote and the amended Resolution was sent to Old Business. Adjournment Without objection, Chair Person Hamilton adjourned the meeting at 5:05 PM. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on October 12, 2017.
