COUNTY METRO CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CREATING A NEW SECTION
REGARDING MANDATORY REPORTING OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO METRO
COUNCIL.

A motion was made by Committee Member Dorsey, seconded by Committee
Member Winkler, that this Resolution be recommended for approval.
Mary Ellen Wiederwohl, Louisville Forward, and Sean Dennis, Deputy County
Attorney, spoke to the item.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Person Piagentini, seconded by Chair
Person Yates, that this Ordinance be amended as follows:
* At Section II, 39.xx1, subletter (C) should be changed to (B)
* At Section II, (A)(2), strike "Government Oversight and Accountability
Committee" and insert "Labor and Economic Development Committee or a
subsequent committee with similar oversight, as directed by the Council
President"
The motion to amend carried by a voice vote.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Person Piagentini, seconded by Chair
Person Yates, that this Resolution be amended as follows:
* Insert at Section I, following letter (D), a new sub-section (E): Any consultants
hired through Louisville Forward or Develop Louisville or the Economic
Development arm of Metro Government will share any final report, written or
oral, with Metro Council's Labor and Economic Development Committee and
the President of the Council, with the exclusion of confidential reports covered
under current statute.
The motion to amend carried by a voice vote.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Person Piagentini, seconded by Chair
Person Yates, that this amended Resolution be amended as follows:
* Insert at Section I, following letter (E), a new sub-section (F): There will be a
list of all consultants hired and their duties by Louisville Forward, Develop
Louisville or the Economic Development Office of the Metro Louisville. This list
will be produced quarterly to the Metro Council Labor and Economic
Development Committee and Council President.
A roll call vote was requested by Chair Person Yatesand the motion to amend
carried by the following vote:
