Members Roll Call The Clerk called the roll. A quorum was established. Council Member Kramer arrived during the Closed Session. Closed Session A motion was made by Council Member Butler, seconded by Council Member Fowler, that the Council enter a Closed Session. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Council entered into a Closed Session at 3:15PM. A motion was made by Council Member Hollander, seconded by Council Member Aubrey Welch, that the Council resume the Regular Session. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Council resumed the Regular Session at 5:30PM. President James announced that no final action was taken during the Closed Session. Action Items 2. M-1-18 A motion to accept the redactions of the report as it relates to the LMPD Explorer Sex Abuse Case. A motion was made by Council Member Benson, seconded by Council Member Welch, that this Motion be approved. M-2-18 A motion to vote to release the attorney/client privilege related to the Redacted Harvey Report of LMPD Explorer Sex Abuse Investigation. A motion was made by Council Member Benson, seconded by Council Member Hollander, that this Motion be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 20 - Green, Shanklin, Sexton Smith, Hamilton, James, Leet, Coan, Hollander, Mulvihill, Kramer, Blackwell, Welch, Fowler, Butler, Reed, Stuckel, Parker, Benson, Peden and Flood Present: 1- Ackerson Excused: 5- Woolridge, Denton, Lanshima, Engel and Yates President James called Kerry Harvey of Dickinson Wright to the podium. Mr. Harvey spoke to the Council regarding the report provided to the Council. 4. M-3-18 A motion to vote to release to the public, the redacted report by Mr. Harvey in regards to the LMPD Explorer Sex Abuse Case A motion was made by Council Member Sexton Smith, seconded by Council Member Peden, that this Motion be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 21 - Green, Shanklin, Sexton Smith, Hamilton, James, Leet, Coan, Hollander, Mulvihill, Kramer, Blackwell, Welch, Fowler, Butler, Reed, Stuckel, Parker, Benson, Peden, Flood and Ackerson Excused: 5- Woolridge, Denton, Lanshima, Engel and Yates Adjournment President James instructed that the Dickenson Wright report be distributed to each of the Council Members.
