R-102-19 A RESOLUTION FOR 100% CLEAN RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY FOR METRO GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS BY 2030, 100% CLEAN ENERGY FOR METRO GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS BY 2035 AND 100% CLEAN ENERGY COMMUNITY-WIDE BY 2040. Sponsors:Primary Brandon Coan (D-8) Attachments: R-102-19 V.1 080819 Clean Revewable Electricity for Metro Government.pdf A motion was made by Committee Member Fox, seconded by Committee Member Triplett, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. The following spoke to the item: Committee Member Brandon Coan, Sponsor of the Resolution Jeff Obrien, Develop Louisville Marianne Butler, Louisville Gas & Electric Company Chair Person Fowler, stated she would contact the Committee Members and the Public of the next meeting to speak regarding the Resolution. Vice Chair Mulvihill, abstained due to his wife working at Louisville Gas & Electric. A motion was made by Committee Member Fox, seconded by Chair Person Fowler, that this Resolution be Tabled. Chair Person Fowler called for a roll call vote and the motion to Table passed by the following vote. Yes: 5- Fowler, Fox, Triplett, George, and Peden Excused: 1- Parker Abstain: 1- Mulvihill Adjournment Without objection, Chair Person Fowler adjourned the meeting at 4:08 p.m. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the full Council Meeting on August 22, 2019.
