The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: Lewis, Blake, Turner, Peterson, White, Tomes, Kirchdorfer and Brown Absent: Jarboe and Proffitt Louisville Metro Government Page 3 Planning Commission Action Summary October 29, 2015 6. 15AMEND1004 Request: LDC Text Amendment for Section 4.2.8, Athletic Facilities Case Manager: Brian Mabry, AICP, Planning Coordinator NOTE: Commissioner White left the meeting at approximately 3:30 p.m. A motion was made by Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner Lewis, that Case Number 15AMEND1004, LDC Text Amendment for Section 4.2.8, Athletic Facilities, be recommended to the Louisville Metro Council for APPROVAL with a Revision to 4.2.8 C to strike out the reference to the residential uses within 500 feet and the applicant shall provide a lighting plan documenting compliance with section 4.1.3. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: Lewis, Blake, Turner, Peterson, Tomes, Kirchdorfer and Brown Absent: Jarboe, Proffitt and White Standing Committee Reports CHAIRMAN OR COMMISSION DIRECTOR’S REPORT Emily Liu, Director of Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, announced the promotion of Joe Reverman to Assistant Director. Ms. Liu also advised there will be no Planning Commission Public Hearing on November 5, 2015. The next Planning Commission Public Hearing is scheduled for November 19, 2015.
