PC_Minutes_01.31.17 Approval of the minutes of the January 31, 2017 Planning Commission Night Hearing held at 6:00 p.m. at Springdale Community Church. A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Vice Chair Lewis, that the January 31, 2017 Night Hearing Minutes be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 2- Carlson, and Jarboe Absent: 5- Brown, Howard, Smith, Peterson, and Tomes Abstain: 3- Gazaway, Ferguson, and Lewis 2. PC_Mins_030217 A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Ferguson, that the March 2, 2017 Planning Commission Minutes be approved. The motion carried unanimously. Yes: 6- Carlson, Gazaway, Ferguson, Tomes, Lewis, and Jarboe Absent: 4- Brown, Howard, Smith, and Peterson A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Tomes, that Case No. 16ZONE1069, a Revised Detailed District Development Plan, Waiver 1 to waive the required 5 foot wide sidewalk along the Bardstown Rd. property line, Waiver 2, to permit a utility easement to overlap a vehicular use area landscape buffer area by more than 50% and an amendment and addition to the binding elements, be approved. The motion carried unanimously. 4. 16ZONE1070 Request: Change in form district, change in zoning, DDDP, waivers Project Name: Menards Location: 4700 Cooper Chapel Road and others Owner: Multiple owners Applicant: Menards Inc. Representative: Bardenwerper Talbott & Roberts PLLC Jurisdiction: Louisville Metro Council District: 23 - James Peden Case Manager: Beth Jones, AICP, Planner II A motion was made by Vice Chair Lewis, seconded by Commissioner Gazaway, that Case No. 16ZONE1070, a form district from Neighborhood to Suburban Marketplace Corridor be recommended, to Metro Council, for approval. The motion carried unanimously. Yes: 6- Carlson, Gazaway, Ferguson, Tomes, Lewis, and Jarboe Absent: 4- Brown, Howard, Smith, and Peterson A motion was made by Vice Chair Lewis, seconded by Commissioner Gazaway, that Case No. 16ZONE1070, a change in zoning from R-4 Residential to C-2 Commercial be recommended, to Metro Council, for approval. The motion carried unanimously. The motion carried unanimously.
