Old Jail Auditorium Louisville Metro Government 514 West Liberty Street Louisville, KY 40202 Action Summary Planning Commission Wednesday, November 7, 2018 6:30 PM Southwest Government Center Call To Order Present: 6- Commissioner Donald Robinson, Commissioner Ruth Daniels, Commissioner Emma Smith, Commissioner Jeff Brown, Commissioner Richard Carlson, and Commissioner Vince Jarboe Absent: 4- Commissioner Robert Peterson, Commissioner David Tomes, Commissioner Marilyn Lewis, and Commissioner Lula Howard Public Hearing Louisville Metro Government Page 1 Planning Commission Action Summary November 7, 2018 1. 18ZONE1037 Request: Change in Form District from Regional Center to Suburban Workplace, change in Zoning from R-4 and C-1 to CM with Waivers and a Revised Detailed District Development Plan with Binding Elements Project Name: New Cut Road Warehouse Location: 6008, 6108, & 6110 New Cut Road Owner: George’s Mobile Home Park, Mark & Terri Hass Applicant: Exeter Property Group, LLC Representative: Land Design and Development; Duncan Galloway Egan Greenwald, PLLC Jurisdiction: Louisville Metro Council District: 13- Vicki Aubrey Welch Case Manager: Julia Williams, AICP, Planning Supervisor A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Brown, that the Planning Commission RECOMMEND to Metro Council a Form District change from Regional Center to Suburban Workplace be approved. The vote was as follows: Yes: Commissioners Brown, Carlson, Daniels, Robinson, Smith and Jarboe Absent: Commissioners Howard, Lewis, Peterson and Tomes A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Brown, that the Planning Commission RECOMMEND to Metro Council a zoning change from R-4, Single Family Residential and C-1, Commercial to C-M, Commercial Manufacturing be approved. The vote was as follows: Yes: Commissioners Brown, Carlson, Daniels, Robinson, Smith and Jarboe Absent: Commissioners Howard, Lewis, Peterson and Tomes A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Smith, that a waiver from chapter 5.5.2.A.1 to not provide building entrances and glazing on the north facade facing Outer Loop and a waiver from chapter 5.6.1.B to reduce the amount of windows and glazing on the south side facade, be approved. The vote was as follows: Yes: Commissioners Brown, Carlson, Daniels, Robinson, Smith and Jarboe Absent: Commissioners Howard, Lewis, Peterson and Tomes A motion was made by Commissioner Carlson, seconded by Commissioner Brown that the Revised Detailed District Development Plan and binding elements with modifications be approved.
