Roll Call Chair Person James introduced the committee members and non-committee members present. A quorum was established. ID 16-1224 PARATRANSIT PUBLIC SAFETY - MARCELLUS MAYES, METRO DISABILITY COALITION Chair Person James called forth audience members to voice their concerns regarding public transportation as it relates to citizens with disabilities. R-110-16 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT AND RECEIVE A STIPEND FROM THE KENTUCKY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT OF $130,000 TO SUPPORT TECHNICAL OR PROFESSIONAL PLANNING/DATA COLLECTION SERVICES AS INDICATED IN THE KENTUCKY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY’S FISCAL YEAR 2017 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM. Sponsors:Primary Bill Hollander (D-9) Attachments: $130K KIPDA_PWA traffic count contract A motion was made by Committee Member Green, seconded by Committee Member Flood, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Stuart Sparks, Public Works and Assets, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. Adjournment Without objection, Chair Person James adjourned the meeting. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on September 22, 2016.
