A quorum was established. O-398-16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 115.451 OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT CODE OF ORDINANCES (LMCO) RELATING TO REMOVAL OF VEHICLES BY PRIVATE TOW OPERATORS; FEE LIMITS. R-002-17 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND, UPON APPROVAL, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (KOHS), TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY KOHS TO FACILITATE AND ADMINISTER THE PROJECT AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THIS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,000. Assistant Chief Robert Schroeder and Lieutenant Mike O'Neil, Louisville Metro Police Department, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. 3. R-008-17 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $51,728.00 FROM THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM AND $8,966.00 FROM THE JEFFERSON COUNTY FISCAL COURT TO BE USED BY THE EMERGENCY SERVICES’ EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY FOR THE LOUISVILLE METRO HAZARD MITIGATION 5 YEAR PLAN UPDATE. Jody Meiman, Emergency Management Services, spoke to the item. NOTE: A technical correction was made to correct every occurrence of 'Carlisle County' to 'Jefferson County' within the title and body of the Resolution. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.
