A quorum was established. Louisville Metro Government Page 1 Public Safety Committee Action Summary - Final March 1, 2017 A motion was made by Committee Member Leet, seconded by Committee Member Sexton Smith, that a Special Public Safety Committee be scheduled to allow Council Members additional time to ask questions regarding the discussion items. The motion carried by a voice vote. Chair Person James stated he will consult with Council Members, Chief Steve Conrad, and Yvette Gentry to determine a date and time for the special committee meeting before the regularly scheduled meeting on March 15, 2017. 2. R-017-17 A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE AUTHORITY OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (KOHS) FOR A PROJECT TO OBTAIN PROTECTIVE SAFETY VESTS, TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY KOHS TO FACILITATE AND ADMINISTER THE PROJECT AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THE PROJECT. O-398-16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 115.451 OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT CODE OF ORDINANCES (LMCO) RELATING TO REMOVAL OF VEHICLES BY PRIVATE TOW OPERATORS; FEE LIMITS.
