R-017-17 A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE AUTHORITY OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (KOHS) FOR A PROJECT TO OBTAIN PROTECTIVE SAFETY VESTS, TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY KOHS TO FACILITATE AND ADMINISTER THE PROJECT AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THE PROJECT. Sponsors:Primary David James (D-6) Attachments: KY Dept.Homeland Security (Sheriff Vests) (1-11-17).doc A motion was made by Committee Member Sexton Smith, seconded by Committee Member Green, that this Resolution be untabled. The motion to untable carried without objection. The motion to recommend for approval carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. Adjournment Without objection, Chair Person James adjourned the meeting at 5:19 p.m. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on March 9, 2017.
