Call to Order
Chair Person Green called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
Roll Call
Chair Person Green introduced the committee members and non-committee
members present. A quorum was established.
Committee Member Sexton Smith arrived at 3:36 p.m. and Committee Member
Denton arrived at 3:38 p.m. Committee Member Hamilton left at 3:40 p.m. and
Vice Chair Peden left at 3:41 p.m.

A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member
Hamilton, that this Resolution be recommended for approval.
Committee Member Hamilton read the Resolution into the record. At the
request of Vice Chair Peden, Committee Member Hamilton gave approval for
the remaining twenty-three Council Members to be added as co-sponsors.
The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to Old
Business at the request of the sponsor.

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AN AMENDMENT TO KRS 65.870 BY THE KENTUCKY
GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGARDING LOCAL REGULATION OF FIREARMS AND
