R-109-18 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND, UPON APPROVAL, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (KOHS), TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY KOHS TO FACILITATE AND ADMINISTER THE PROJECT AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THIS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $425,000 TO PURCHASE AN ARMORED EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLE. Jody Meiman, Emergency Services, and Sgt. Eric Culver, Louisville Metro Police Department, spoke to the item and distributed a handout (see attached). The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. 2. R-014-18 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AN AMENDMENT TO KRS 65.870 BY THE KENTUCKY GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGARDING LOCAL REGULATION OF FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION BY CONSOLIDATED LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.
