UPON APPROVAL, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY
OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (KOHS), TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS
WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY KOHS TO FACILITATE AND ADMINISTER
THE PROJECT AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THIS
PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $425,000 TO PURCHASE AN ARMORED
EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLE.

A motion was made by Committee Member Sexton Smith, seconded by
Committee Member Flood, that this Resolution be recommended for approval.
Jody Meiman, Emergency Services, and Sgt. Eric Culver, Louisville Metro
Police Department, spoke to the item and distributed a handout (see attached).
The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent
Calendar.
