R-176-18 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION OF AN AMOUNT UP TO $5,000,000 TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE OFFICE FOR SAFE & HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS (OSHN). Rashaad Abdur-Rahman, Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods, and Dr. Jennifer Middleton, University of Louisville, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. 2. O-325-18 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 91 OF THE LOUISVILLE METRO CODE OF ORDINANCES (“LMCO”) TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL SUBSECTION TO THE DEFINITION “RESTRAINT.” Sponsors:Primary Cindi Fowler (D-14) Attachments: O-325-18 V.1 091318 Amending Chp 91 Regarding Restraint of Pot-Bellied Pigs.pdf A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member Sexton Smith, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval. Council Member Fowler and Ozzy Gibson, Metro Animal Sevices, spoke to the item. A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member Denton, that this Ordinance be tabled.
