Call to Order
Chair Person Green called the meeting to order at 3:40 p.m.
Roll Call
Chair Person Green introduced the committee members and non-committee
members present. A quorum was established.
Committee Member Leet arrived at 3:44 p.m. and Committee Member Denton
arrived at 3:59 p.m. Committee Member Hamilton left at 3:54 p.m.

AMOUNT UP TO $5,000,000 TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE OFFICE FOR SAFE &
HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS (OSHN).

A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member
Sexton Smith, that this Resolution be recommended for approval.
Rashaad Abdur-Rahman, Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods, and Dr.
Jennifer Middleton, University of Louisville, spoke to the item.
The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent
Calendar.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 91 OF THE LOUISVILLE METRO CODE OF
ORDINANCES (“LMCO”) TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL SUBSECTION TO THE
DEFINITION “RESTRAINT.”

A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member

Council Member Fowler and Ozzy Gibson, Metro Animal Sevices, spoke to the
item.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member
Denton, that this Ordinance be tabled. The motion to table carried without
objection.
