A quorum was established. O-082-19 AN ORDINANCE CREATING A NEW CHAPTER UNDER TITLE XI OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT CODE OF ORDINANCES (“LMCO”) REQUIRING THE PLACEMENT OF A REFLECTIVE DECAL IN THE 10TH FLOOR WINDOWS OF TALL BUILDINGS AS A VISIBLE MARKER OF THE HEIGHT OF THE BUILDINGS IN ORDER TO ASSIST LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT AND OTHER EMERGENCY RESPONSE PERSONNEL (AS AMENDED). The following spoke to the item: - Chair Person Green, who distributed samples of the decal (see attached) - Lieutenant Colonel Robert Schroeder, Louisville Metro Police Department - Detective Chris Geoghegan, Louisville Metro Police Department - Dee Baltimore, Jefferson County Attorney's Office A motion was made by Chair Person Green, seconded by Committee Member Fox, that this Ordinance be amended by inserting '500' into the blank space in Line 3 of Section 128.999. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote. A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member Fox, that this amended Ordinance be amended by inserting "and/" before "or" and inserting "maintain current information and" before "place" in Line 1 of Section 128.999. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote.
