Notice of Open Deliberations Pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 142.063, this public notice is provided relating to meet and confer deliberations between: City of Lubbock, Texas and Lubbock Professional Police Association Date/Time: July 22, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. Location: Citizens Tower, 2nd Floor Conference Center, 201A/B, 1314 Avenue K, Lubbock, Texas 79401 Agenda: Deliberations and/or related action relating to an agreement or a proposed agreement between the City of Lubbock, Texas (“City”) and the Lubbock Professional Police Association (“Association”) as provided for in Texas Local Government Code Chapter 142, Subchapter B. Public Notice: Members of the public and press are encouraged to observe and monitor the deliberation. A recording of the public portion of the meeting will be made available, but active participation in discussions or presentations is expressly prohibited unless permitted by the Ground Rules established by the City and the Association. Representatives for either the City or Association may suspend the meeting at any time during the proceedings for consultation with their attorney or to have a private caucus with their respective representatives. Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code and Section 142.063(b) of the Texas Local Government Code the deliberations during this period are closed to the public The use of cellular phones or sound activated pagers is prohibited while deliberations are being conducted. Please step outside the meeting room should you elect to utilize these devices. This meeting is available to all persons regardless of disability.
