CITY OF LYNNWOOD LEOFF-1 FIREFIGHTER PENSION BOARD - REGULAR LEOFF-1 FIREFIGHTER PENSION BOARD MEETING MINUTES January 13, 2026 1. Call to Order Chairman George Hurst called the January 2026 Firefighter Pension Board meeting to order at 9:45am. 2. Roll Call All Firefighter Pension Board Members were in attendance at the January 2026 Firefighter Pension Board meeting. Present: Chairman George Hurst Finance Director Michelle Meyer Member John Conderman Member Paul Walker Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin 3. Approval of Minutes 3.1 Approval of the October 14, 2025 Firefighters Pension Board Meeting Minutes Moved by John Conderman; seconded by Michelle Meyer to Approve . Motion Passed: 4- 0 Voting For: Christine Frizzell, Michelle Meyer, John Conderman, Tammy Bodmer Voting Against: None 4. Audit of Claim 4.1 Approval of the October, November, December 2025 Retirement Payments 4.2 Motion for Audit of the Claims Moved by John Conderman; seconded by Tammy Bodmer to Approve . Motion Passed: 4- 0 Voting For: Christine Frizzell, Michelle Meyer, John Conderman, Tammy Bodmer Voting Against: None 5. Old Business 1  Finance Director Michelle Meyer told the board that the new RFA contract was tentatively approved by union vote last week. It still needs to be voted on by the board. The tentative approval includes a 2.7% COLA. She asked the RFA to send a copy of the new contract once the board approves it. Michelle will then calculate the new payments and any retroactive payments if needed. Paul Walker asked Michelle if she could find out the duration of the contract and the exact start and end dates. He also asked if Michelle could send a letter to all 4 pension recipients once the contract is approved. Michelle agreed. 6. New Business 6.1 Welcome Mayor George Hurst to the Firefighter Pension Board as the New Chairman Board Secretary Kaitlyn Martin introduced Mayor George Hurst as the new Firefighter Pension Board Chairman. Adjourn Chairman George Hurst adjourned the January 2026 Firefighter Pension Board Meeting at 9:52am. 2
