Demolition of the existing set of (3) tennis courts on the west side, which were originally
built in 1976, will be by Parks Construction staff in late summer. The courts (both west
and east side), have received 6+ rounds of crack fill and resurfacing, each round with
diminishing returns. Rebuilding the courts will allow for a deeper base course and
resistance to structural cracks, which are difficult to repair. Estimated construction cost:
$275,000.
