water resources impacts and the necessity of permits for public works
construction projects on this agenda and addendum to the agenda.
The Board received the report.

the City Engineer's Street Numbering Map, referred to in Sections 10.34(2)
and 10.34(4), Madison General Ordinances by changing the name of a portion
of Fiedler Lane and one private street upon final attachment of Town of
Madison lands to the City of Madison to allow for proper addressing within the
City of Madison. (14th AD)

This private development project includes the demolition of four commercial buildings at
3900, 3916, and 3920 Monona Drive and 109 Cottage Grove Road. The developer is
conditionally approved for the construction of a five-story mixed-use building with

access sales and service windows. Improvements in the right of way include the

reimbursement for all Traffic Engineering infrastructure modifications needed to serve the
development, street and terrace restoration, Metro boarding pad maintenance and
installation, and protection of all terrace trees.

This Project will treat 189.1 acres of previously under treated stormwater draining from
the existing East Towne Commercial Area. These improvements consist of a northeast
engineered wet detention cell and a northwest wet cell designed to reduce peak flow,
sediment and phosphorus prior to entering Starkweather Creek and ultimately to Lake
Monona. Along with the detention improvement, there will be some stormsewer updates
to help reduce garbage and floatables prior to entering the stormwater system. Estimated
cost is $1,100,600.00
