2. 43144 Poet Laureate Program & Initiatives
Angela Trudell Vasquez, Poet Laureate, presented her top three choices and reasoning for
the Youth Poet Laureate selection. Commissioners then discussed their top picks.
A motion was made by Carter, seconded by Ryan, to Approve recommending
to Common Council that the City of Madison names Madeleine Bohn to serve
as Youth Poet Laureate, with Megan Ngo as 1st runner up, and Logan Lloyd as
2nd runner up. The motion passed by voice vote/other.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Ryan, seconded by Senarighi, to Adjourn at 1:16 pm.

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MADISON ARTS COMMISSION
Some or all members of the Madison Arts Commission or members of the public may
participate in the meeting remotely by teleconference or videoconference. Katie Ryan
and Lance Owen will be attending by phone.
The City of Madison is holding the Madison Arts Commission meeting virtually to help
protect our community from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
