Ryan; Anna T. January and Nicholas A. Pjevach Excused: 4 - Fabu P. Carter; Lance M. Owens; Bethany M. Jurewicz and Taeli S. T. Reistad PUBLIC COMMENT 1. 61239 Public Comment DISCLOSURES AND RECUSALS 2. 43144 Poet Laureate Program & Initiatives Angela Trudell Vasquez, Poet Laureate, presented her top three choices and reasoning for the Youth Poet Laureate selection. Commissioners then discussed their top picks. A motion was made by Carter, seconded by Ryan, to Approve recommending to Common Council that the City of Madison names Madeleine Bohn to serve as Youth Poet Laureate, with Megan Ngo as 1st runner up, and Logan Lloyd as 2nd runner up.
