3. Call to the Public
No members of the public approached the podium during the call to the public. No
speaker cards were provided by the public.
4. Minutes
4.1 MIN 25-16 The Commission shall review and approve Minutes from the March 10th, 2025 meeting.
A motion was made by Commissioner Robertson, seconded by Commissioner
Thomas, that these Minutes be Approved. The motion carried by a unanimous
vote.
5. Regular Agenda
5.1 CONTINUED ZON25-01 Maricopa Museum Rezone (Continued): A request by the City of Maricopa
ZON25-01 to rezone Assessor Parcel Number 512-01-0010, approximately ±2.5-acres of land,
from Single Family Residence/Planned Area Development (CR-3/PAD) to
Public-Institutional (PI), located at 20864 N. Smith Farms Road, Maricopa, AZ, 85138.
DISCUSSION AND ACTION.
A motion was made by Commissioner Yocum, seconded by Commissioner
Robertson, that this Rezoning be Approved. The motion carried by a
unanimous vote.
5.2 CUP25-01 PUBLIC HEARING: CUP25-01 SmartLink for AT&T - A request by SmartLink on behalf
of AT&T to co-locate equipment onto an existing cell tower. The proposed modification
will increase the height of the existing monopole by 14-feet. The site generally located

at 42660 W. Rancho El Dorado Parkway within the City of Maricopa incorporated
limits. DISCUSSION AND ACTION.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Juarez III, seconded by Commissioner
Brems, that this Conditional Use Permit be Approved. The motion carried by a
unanimous vote.
5.3 PZ 25-02 On behalf of the City of Maricopa, Mr. Danny Court, with Elliot D. Pollack LLC, will
present an update to the Planning and Zoning Commission on the City of Maricopa
Housing Assessment. This is an informational item only. DISCUSSION ONLY.
Mr. Danny Court, with Elliot D. Pollack LLC, presented details of 5.3. Discussion
followed.
The Presentation was heard.
6. Reports from Commission and/or Staff
Richard Williams, Planning and Zoning Manager, gave a report from staff. Williams
stated that there will be a meeting in two weeks. Also, encouraged residents to
participate in the survey regarding the General Plan update.
7. Executive Session
No executive session was conducted.
8. Adjournment
A motion was made by Chair Singleton, seconded by Commissioner Brems,
that this meeting be Adjourn at 7:38 p.m.. The motion carried by a unanimous
vote.
