NOTICE OF A SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
July 21, 2026
At the request of the Council President, a Special Meeting of Mayfield Heights City
Council is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21st, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber
within City Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to approve Resolutions 2026-49 through 2026-56, Ordinance
2026-14, and Motion A as detailed in the attached Agenda.
Once this is completed, Council may adjourn into Executive Session under Ohio
Revised Code 121.22(G)(1) to discuss impending and imminent litigation.

June 2, 2026, to remove weeds and cut the grass at 1117 Iroquois
Avenue in the City of Mayfield Heights, Ohio and declaring an emergency

2026-50 A Resolution confirming the action of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the
City of Mayfield Heights in granting to Ford Martin, GBT Realty
Corporation, agent for First Mayland LTD, owner of 5906 Mayfield Road,
a variance to use eight-inch concrete masonry units for a new building in
the U-4 Zone District where four-inch concrete masonry units are required
(Cuyahoga County Permanent Parcel No. 861-24-069), and declaring an
emergency
2026-51 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Glaus,
Pyle, Schomer, Burns and DeHaven Inc., DBA, GPD Group, to provide
professional architectural & engineering services for the Police
Department Locker Room renovation project in the City, and declaring an
emergency
2026-52 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to donate the Police Chevy Tahoe to
the SPAN Swat Team, and declaring an emergency
2026-53 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to take all steps necessary to apply
for and accept a NatureWorks Grant from the State of Ohio to assist with
the construction of the City Park, ADA Trail Development in the City of
Mayfield Heights, and declaring an emergency
2026-54 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Cooperative
Agreement with the City of Lyndhurst for the resurfacing of Mayfield Road,
and declaring an emergency
2026-55 A Resolution for Preliminary Legislation (Consent) to rehabilitate Mayfield
Road (US-322) from Sheridan Road to Eastwood Avenue in the City of
Lyndhurst in Cuyahoga County, PID 121068, and declaring an
emergency
2026-56 A Resolution authorizing Change Order No. 1 with the Ohio Department
of Transportation (ODOT) for the installation of Centracs Cloud Traffic
Signal System in lieu of the Arterial Traffic Signal System, and declaring
an emergency

2026-14 An Ordinance approving the editing and inclusion of certain Ordinances
as parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances;
