Rockwall Historical Society will make a presentation to the City of McLendon- Chisholm. 5. PUBLIC HEARING 5.1. Conduct a public hearing and consider the adoption of an ordinance accepting and approving a service and assessment plan and assessment rolls for Sonoma Verde North Public Improvement District, levying special assessments against certain property in Zone A Improvement Area #1 and Zone B Improvement Area #1 of the District and making certain findings and determinations relating to the District 6. CITIZEN COMMENTS 7. CONSENT AGENDA 7.1. Consider approval of the minutes from the June 23, 2026 City Council Meeting 7.2. Consider appointing the following members to the Planning and Zoning Commission: Chris Freeze , Adam Bailey and Jaxson Fox as regular members and Diana Lambert as alternate. 7.3. Consider approving the following appointments to the Board of Adjustments: Melody Osorio and Stanley Brothers as regular members. 8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION The City Council for the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, reserves the right to convene into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed, as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551,§551.071 - Consultation with attorney 8.1. Review and discuss the proposed standardized Development Agreement  templates for use in future development projects. 8.2. Discuss and consider the adoption of an ordinance accepting and approving a service and assessment plan and assessment rolls for Sonoma Verde North Public Improvement District, levying special assessments against certain property in Zone A Improvement Area #1 and Zone B Improvement Area #1 of the District and making certain findings and determinations relating to the District 8.3. Discuss and consider the adoption of an ordinance approving the issuance and sale of "City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2026 (Sonoma Verde North Public Improvement District Zone A Improvement Area #1 and Zone B Improvement Area #1 Projects)" and approving various documents related to such bonds 8.4. Discuss and consider the adoption of a resolution accepting a petition requesting annexation by the landowners, Pulte Homes of Texas, L.P and DRP TX 6, LLC of approximately 208.787 acres of land located in the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction, setting a public hearing for July 28, 2026, authorizing publication and notice of the public hearing as required by law, authorizing negotiation of a written services agreement, and providing an effective date. 8.5. Discuss and consider an ordinance amending Chapter 12, “Traffic and Vehicles,” of the Code of Ordinances by adding Section 12-01-007 “Restrictions on commercial vehicles and designation of truck routes”; prohibiting commercial vehicles from utilizing certain streets and roads within the city limits; designating truck routes; and providing exceptions. 9. EXECUTIVE SESSION 10. COUNCIL MEMBER REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS The City Council will have an opportunity to address items of community interest including: expressions of thanks, congratulations, or condolence; information regarding holiday schedules; an honorary or salutary recognition of a public official, public employee, or other citizen; a reminder about an upcoming event organized or sponsored by the City of McLendon-Chisholm; information regarding a social, ceremonial, or community event organized or sponsored by an entity other than the City of McLendon-Chisholm that was attended or is scheduled to be attended by a member of the City Council or an official or employee of the City of McLendon- Chisholm; and announcements involving an imminent threat to the public health and safety of people in the City of McLendon-Chisholm that has arisen after posting the agenda. 11.
