There were no items from citizens present. 2 Presentations/Action Items 2-a 13-2179 Hear a presentation, discuss and make a recommendation on the proposed street name change of East 3rd Place to Martin Luther King Jr. Way from North Center Street to North Centennial Way. Attachments: Committee Report Presentation It was moved by Committeemember Luna, seconded by Committeemember Kavanaugh, to recommend to the full Council that 3rd Place from North Center Street to North Centennial Way be changed to Martin Luther King, Jr. Way. Chairman Glover declared the motion carried unanimously. 2-b 13-2189 Hear a presentation, discuss and provide a recommendation on the establishment of a Railroad Quiet Zone at the crossing at Southern Avenue west of Mesa Drive. Attachments: Presentation It was moved by Committeemember Kavanaugh, seconded by Committeemember Luna, to direct staff to conduct additional research relative to the establishment of Railroad Quiet Zones at all railroad crossings located within the City of Mesa and that such information be forwarded on to the full Council for further discussion and action.
