3. Approval of previous meeting minutes.
Motion by Mr. Fleming, seconded by Dr. Calvert to approved the November 22, 2021
meeting minutes. There were no objections.
4. Certification of providers
Motion by Mr. Fleming, seconded by Dr. Weston to approve the Certification of Bell
and Curtis ambulance services. There were no objections.
5. Private Provider Report
Private Ambulance Service Provider Report was shared to the members; currently the
City has two service providers; Bell and Curtis that, are also using the vehicles they
have co housed in the four existing fire stations. These providers have shown a great
deal of accountability given the increase of reckless driving and gun shoots victims.
6. Changes to Ch 75
Chief Parish explained the changes to Chapter 75 will include updates to the language,
definitions, terminology, and state statues.
Although per letter submitted by the Fire Department that stated the average medical
care CPI for July 2022 is 585.988, for a net change of 4.23%, after discussion of this
point, the motion to approve as amended, to reflect an adjustment to 5.26%, Dr.
Colella, seconded by Mr. Fleming, made this motion. There were no objections.
7. Updates on EMS system.
Chief Parish was thankful to all the providers for their efforts this summer. although the
call volume this was overwhelming higher, the collaboration of the two service providers
was a great help. Department continues to evaluate ideas as they come forth and
looking forward to continue serving the City.

the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary
and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods &
Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on
whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the
Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee,
whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In
the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be
taken at the simultaneous meeting.
Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities
through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. For additional information or to request this
service, contact the City Clerk's Office ADA Coordinator at 286-2998, (FAX)286-3456,
(TDD)286-2025 or by writing to the Coordinator at Room 205, City Hall, 200 E. Wells Street,
Milwaukee, WI 53202.
Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit)
at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking
tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are
required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing
before a Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information
