Call to Order This meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. 2. Roll Call Present 4 - Bock, Miller, Smith and Cleary 3. 211900 Approval of the minutes from the regular meeting held on March 15, 2022. Attachments: CSC Meeting Minutes 3.15.2022 APPROVED Aye 4- Bock, Miller, Smith, and Cleary No 0 GENERAL HEARING 4. 211909 Communication from the Department of Neighborhood Services for an Extension of Probationary Period for Kathleen Adsit, Plan Examiner III, for six additional months beginning on March 22, 2022 and ending on September 22, 2022. The Commission approved the six month probationary extension with the understanding for the department to meet with the employee on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for improved communication with the employee. Attachments: Exempt New position of Grants Compliance Manager, DOA.CDGA APPROVED Aye 4- Bock, Miller, Smith, and Cleary No 0 7. 211922 Communication from the Department of Administration, Community Development Grants Administration, to exempt the NEW position of Grant Monitor, Pay Range 2GX. Attachments: Exempt New position of Grant Monitor, DOA-CDGA APPROVED Aye 4- Bock, Miller, Smith, and Cleary No 0 8. 211903 Communication from Mr. Michael Allan Marass appealing the decision for removal from the application process to the position of Housing Program Specialist for not meeting minimum qualifications. Attachments: Appeal - Application Removal - Michael Marass The Commission up held the decision by the Department of Employee Relations to remove Mr. Michael Allan Marass from the application process to the position of Housing Program Specialist for not meeting the minimum requirements. Adjournment This meeting adjourned at 2:31 p.m. In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing before a Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is available at http://city.milwaukee.gov/Lobbying. The Board may receive a motion to convene in closed Session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(a)(c) or (1)(f) Wis. Stats., if necessary.
