Review and approval of the previous meeting minutes from March 14, 2022. The meeting minutes from March 14, 2022 were approved without objection. 4. 6th and North Development Opportunity RFP application presentations, review, and recommendations. City of Milwaukee Page 1 BRONZEVILLE ADVISORY Meeting Minutes April 11, 2022 COMMITTEE Ms. Turim said that there were three top finalists for the committee to consider, proposals were submitted to members for their review, the site would require rezoning, the site would be a catalytic site for Bronzeville, and the three finalists were: MLK Economic Development Corporation & KG Development Group, FIT Investment Group & Cinnaire Solutions, and Horizon Group, Midwest Affordable Housing Corp & Northernstar. Member Smith moved to convene into closed session, pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. There was no objection. There was no objection. Meeting reconvened into open session at 12:02 p.m. Chair Vernon said that the committee would complete its scoring, evaluations, and reconvene to make a recommendation at a subsequent special meeting. In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting. Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division.
