3. Communication relating to the annual academic monitoring report of
Downtown Montessori Academy
The Commitee heard from Children's Research Center and asked questions
regarding the annual academic monitoring report of Downtown Montessori
Academy
The Committee moved to accept the annual academic monitoring report of
Downtown Montessori Academy by a 4-0 vote.

4. Communication relating to the annual academic monitoring report of
King’s Academy
The Commitee heard from Children's Research Center and asked questions
regarding the annual academic monitoring report of King's Academy
The Committee moved to accept the annual academic monitoring report of
King's Academy with the recommendation that KIng's Academy be put on
probabtion by a 4-0 vote.

North Point Lighthouse Charter School
The Commitee heard from Children's Research Center and asked questions

regarding the annual academic monitoring report of Norhtpoint Lighthouse
Charter School.
The Committee moved to accept the annual academic monitoring report of
Northpoint Lighthouse Charter School by a 4-0 vote, with the following
amendment.
1. Add an additional Recommendation for School Improvement:
- Stabilize the administrative leadership team and the board of directors.
2. Change the Recommendations for Ongoing Monitoring and Charter Renewal
to read:
- Based on the contract compliance and scorecard measures for this
second year of operation as a city of Milwaukee charter school, it is
recommended that CRC provide a mid-year report to include an
assessment of NPLCS’s progress regarding the stated school
improvement recommendations as well as performance on the
scorecard through the first semester of 2014-15 school year.

hour limit) at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water
Street. Parking tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances
are required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists
appearing before a Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such.
